# Building with blocks

> How to build commands and events with blocks.

The builders are where the magic happens. This is where you place blocks and join them, so your bot knows what to do.

## The builders

| Builder | What it's for |
| - | - |
| **Command Builder** | Things people type, like `/daily` or `/help`. |
| **Event Builder** | Things that happen on their own, like someone joining your server. |
| **Message Builder** | Designing nice messages you can use again and again. See [Message Builder](/message-builder). |
| **WhatsApp flow builder** | Your WhatsApp number. See [WhatsApp bots](/whatsapp). |

Every builder works the same way. Learn it once and you can use them all.
