# Integrations and webhooks

> Your invite link and web addresses other services can send to.

Open **Integrations** in the sidebar.

## Your bot's invite link

The invite link adds your bot to a server. Copy it and open it in your browser, pick a server and press **Authorize**. You need the **Manage Server** permission in that server.

## Inbound webhooks: let other apps start your bot

An **inbound webhook** is a special web address. When another service (a shop, a form, Zapier, a game server) sends data to it, your bot runs an event. For example: "a new order came in, post it in #orders".

<Steps>
  <Step title="Make a webhook">
    On the Integrations page, make a new inbound webhook.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the protection">
    * **API key** (recommended): the other service must send your key in its Authorization header. Strangers cannot use your address.
    * **No authorization**: anyone with the address can use it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy the address and key">
    When it is ready you see the **POST address** and the **API key**. The key is shown **once**, so copy it now.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect the other service">
    Paste the address (and key) into the other service. The **Code** tab has ready examples in cURL, JavaScript, Node.js and Python.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## The webhook tabs

| Tab | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Setup** | The address, protection and settings. |
| **Code** | Copy-ready examples for developers. |
| **Deliveries** | Every time data arrived, so you can check it worked. |
| **Variables** | The values from the data that you can use in your blocks. |

On the Free plan the number of webhooks is limited. See [Plans and limits](/plans-and-limits).

<Info>
  For WhatsApp numbers, the same idea is called **Web addresses that start flows**, on the **Apps and services** page. See [Apps and services](/whatsapp-bots/apps-and-services).
