## Your bot

> **My bot is offline. What do I do?**
>
> Open the **Dashboard** page and press **Start bot**. Still offline? See [My bot is offline](/help/my-bot-is-offline).

> **Does my bot keep running when I close DogeBot?**
>
> Yes. Your bot keeps running even when you close dogebot.net or turn off your computer. DogeBot runs it for you, all day and all night.

> **Is it safe to put my bot token in DogeBot?**
>
> Yes. DogeBot keeps your token locked away (encrypted) and never shows it to collaborators. Just never share it anywhere else.

> **Can more than one person build the same bot?**
>
> Yes! Invite them as a collaborator. See [Collaborators](/your-bot/collaborators).

## Commands and events

> **My slash command does not show up in Discord.**
>
> See [My command doesn't show up](/help/my-command-doesnt-show-up) for the full checklist.

> **My event does not do anything.**
>
> 1. Check the event is switched **on**. An event that is off shows "Off, it won't run". Changes take about 10 seconds to work.
> 2. For message events, your bot needs the **Message Content Intent** turned on in the Discord Developer Portal.
> 3. For member join and leave events, your bot needs the **Server Members Intent** turned on.
> 4. Open [Error Logs](/your-bot/error-logs) to see if a block failed.

> **What does "No problems" in the builder mean?**
>
> The builder checks your blocks while you build. **No problems** means it did not find anything wrong. If it finds a problem, it tells you which block to fix.

> **A block has a Heads up tag. What does that mean?**
>
> The builder thinks this block will fail when it runs. Press the tag to see why, and fix it before anyone uses the command.

> **A block failed. Where do I see why?**
>
> Open [Error Logs](/your-bot/error-logs). Each error shows who ran it, the values when it ran and the **Steps to repair**. Press **Open the block** to jump straight to it.

## Account and plans

> **I forgot my password.**
>
> Press **Forgot password?** on the log in page. DogeBot sends you a link by email. The link works for 30 minutes. See [Your account and security](/your-account-and-security).

> **I can't sign in. It says to wait.**
>
> After 10 wrong passwords, sign-in pauses for 15 minutes. Wait, then try again or reset your password.

> **What happens when I reach a Free limit?**
>
> Nothing breaks. You just cannot add more of that thing until you remove something or move to Premium. See [Premium and plans](/premium-and-plans).

> **Can I build for Discord and WhatsApp?**
>
> Yes. Under **Account**, then **What you build**, pick **Discord**, **WhatsApp** or **Both**. You can change it any time.
