# The builders

> How to build commands and events with blocks.

The builders are where the magic happens. This is where you place blocks and connect them so your bot knows what to do.

DogeBot has these builders:

* **Command Builder**: for things people type, like **/daily** or **/help**.
* **Event Builder**: for things that happen on their own, like someone joining your server.
* **Message Builder**: for designing nice-looking messages you can use again and again.
* **WhatsApp flow builder**: for your WhatsApp number. See [WhatsApp bots](/whatsapp-bots).
