# Giveaways

> Timed giveaways with an Enter button.

Switch Giveaways on.

**2. 2. Host role**

People with this role can run giveaways. The server owner always can.

**3. 3. The giveaway message**

Colour, button text and emoji, and whether to show how many people entered.

## Running a giveaway

| Command | What it does |
| - | - |
| `/giveaway start 2h 3 Nitro Classic` | 2 hours, 3 winners, prize "Nitro Classic" |
| `/giveaway start 30m Steam key` | 1 winner when you leave the number out |
| `/giveaway list` | Giveaways running now |
| `/giveaway end 4` | End giveaway #4 now and pick winners |
| `/giveaway reroll 4` | Pick new winners (never the same people) |
| `/giveaway cancel 4` | Stop it without winners |

Members press **🎉 Enter** to join and press again to leave. When time is up, the bot picks random winners, turns the message into the result, announces the winners and DMs them. The end time is shown in UTC.
