| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bot | A robot account that lives in your Discord server or on your WhatsApp number. It does jobs for you, like answering people. |
| Server | A Discord community. Your bot joins a server to work there. |
| Dashboard | The website where you control your bot. You open it at dogebot.net after you sign in. |
| Command | Something a person types to make your bot do something. For example, typing /ping makes the bot answer “Pong!”. |
| Slash command | A command that starts with a / (slash). Discord shows a little menu with your bot’s slash commands when someone types /. |
| Context command | A command you find by right-clicking (or long-pressing) a person or a message, then choosing Apps. |
| Event | Something that happens on its own, that your bot can react to. For example: “someone joined the server” or “someone sent a message”. |
| Flow | On WhatsApp, a flow is a list of steps your bot follows when something happens, like a new message. |
| Block | One small piece of your bot. Every block does one job. You connect blocks to tell the bot what to do, in order. |
| Builder | The board where you place and connect blocks. There is a Command Builder, an Event Builder and a WhatsApp flow builder. |
| Canvas | The big dotted area inside the builder where your blocks sit. |
| Line | The connection between two blocks. The bot follows the lines from block to block. |
| Variable | A box with a name that holds a value. For example, {user_name} holds the name of the person who used the command. |
| Custom variable | A variable you make yourself, like coins or levels. Its name starts with DBVAR_. |
| Role | A label in a Discord server that gives people a colour and permissions, like “Member” or “Moderator”. |
| Embed | A fancy Discord message with a coloured edge, a title and sections. |
| Module | A ready-made feature (with its own commands and events) you can switch on for your bot. |
| Card | A picture your bot draws by itself in Card Studio, like a welcome card or a rank card. |
| Token | A secret password for your bot. Never share it with anyone. |
| Premium | The paid plan that gives your bot bigger limits and extra features. |
Your bot token is like the key to your house. If someone else gets it, they can control your bot. Never post it in a chat, a screenshot or a video.
