Sometimes a block cannot do its job. For example, your bot tries to give a role, but its own role is too low. When that happens, DogeBot writes it down in Error Logs: what broke and how to repair it.

What each error shows

  • Who ran it, where and when.
  • Values when it ran: what your variables held at that moment.
  • Steps to repair: what to change to fix it.

Fix an error

1

Open Error Logs

Press Error Logs in the sidebar. You can also open it from the left rail inside the builder.
2

Read the error

Look at Steps to repair and Values when it ran.
3

Open the block

Press Open the block. The builder opens with the broken block, so you can fix it.
4

Mark it repaired

Save your fix, then press Mark repaired. When the block runs fine again, DogeBot shows Working again by itself.

The buttons

Repair notes

Repair notes are private tips sent to the owner and collaborators on Discord when something breaks. You can switch them off.

How long errors are kept

Your Secrets are never shown in Error Logs.
