The Message block

The Message block opens the Message Builder, the same one Discord bots use, limited to what Yapin can show. Where the message goes is set on the block: reply to the command, the same channel, another channel, someone’s DMs, or edit a message the bot sent before.

Layouts

The Layout message block builds a Components V2 message: containers with an accent colour, sections with a picture or button beside the text, separators, picture galleries and button rows. Use it for menus, info panels and rules.

Buttons

Each button you add gets its own path in the builder: put blocks under it to decide what happens when it’s pressed. Use Answer the click to reply (publicly or only to the person who pressed), update the message, or just acknowledge it.
Yapin needs an answer to a button within 3 seconds. If your blocks take longer, DogeBot quietly answers for you, and your later replies still arrive.

Pictures

Yapin only shows pictures from Yapin’s own uploads and these sites: i.imgur.com · media.tenor.com · media.giphy.com · i.giphy.com · upload.wikimedia.org · raw.githubusercontent.com · avatars.githubusercontent.com · user-images.githubusercontent.com · i.ytimg.com · cdn.discordapp.com · media.discordapp.net · pbs.twimg.com · i.redd.it · static-cdn.jtvnw.net · i.scdn.co · s4.anilist.co · cdn.myanimelist.net · nekos.best · cdn.weeb.sh A link from any other site in an embed or layout is refused by Yapin. Bots can’t attach files to messages. Avatars and server icons ({yp_user_avatar}) are Yapin uploads, so they always work.

Card Studio

Card Studio designs (welcome cards, rank cards, level-up cards…) work on Yapin with all the same variables, including the person’s picture, name, server name and member count. Use Make an image card, then {card} in your message.

Emojis

  • Normal emojis like 😀 🔥 🎉 work everywhere.
  • Emojis uploaded to your Yapin server work in text, embeds and buttons. Write them as <:name:id>, or <a:name:id> for animated ones. id is the long ID Yapin gives the emoji.

Make it look premium

  • Pick one colour per kind of message: green for success, red for warnings, your brand colour for info.
  • Put the person’s picture as the thumbnail: {yp_user_avatar}.
  • Use inline fields for short facts (Member, Moderator, Duration) and a full-width field for longer text.
  • Add a footer and the timestamp so messages read like a log.
